Top China Travel is the international branch of the largest (AFAIK) travel agency in China. They organize large and small group tours (even as small as one person), have very knowledgeable guides and do a great job organizing all the tour logistics (transport, lodging, meals, tickets). We did a two-week tour with them (two couples) and it was an excellent experience. Their prices are moderate.
