The Taj Pavilion was opened in 1998 and now there are 3 branches in Beijing. The 3 branches are all centrally located in the city. Staffs here are lovely and attentive. Except for the delicious food it offers, this restaurant also have a pleasant environment for guests. The restaurant has predominantly an Indian decor surrounded by the wooden carvings on the walls under a huge dome in the centre. There are silk paintings hanged on the walls, which together depicts the royalty and culture from the Moghul era of India.
