Day 1Arrival Hanoi

Meals: No meal
Overnight: In Hanoi

Upon arriving at Hanoi Noi Bai Airport, our guide and driver will welcome you and transfer you to hotel in Hanoi. The rest of your day is at leisure for independent exploration – just catch a sight of Hoan Kiem Lake or explore the maze of streets in the city’s fascinating Old Quarter where you are certain to find something unique to buy.

Day 2Hanoi Lao Cai

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
Overnight: on the train

Breakfast at hotel, our tour guide and driver will meet you at lobby of hotel at 08:00AM for full day to explore Vietnam's charming capital. With its wide tree-lined boulevards, French colonial architecture, peaceful lakes and ancient oriental pagodas, Hanoi is an eclectic mix that offers something for everyone. Your city tour will take you to Hanoi's key sites: the Ho Chi Minh Complex (Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum and stilt house); the Presidential Palace; the nearby One Pillar Pagoda; the Temple of Literature; West Lake; the sedate Tran Quoc Pagoda & Quan Thanh Temple; and one of the city's museums (a choice between the History Museum and the Ethnology Museum). End of the day you can enjoy a traditional Water Puppet Performance – a unique Vietnamese art form hailing from Southeast Asia's wet-rice culture. Afterwards you are free until 8.00pm and be transferred to Hanoi Railway Station for the night train to Sapa.

Note: If you don't want to share train cabin with the other passengers, please let us know to book a whole four berths cabin or a cabin with two berths. Surcharge is applicable.


Temple of Literature

Day 3Lao Cai Sapa

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Overnight: In Sapa

Arrival at Lao Cai station at 6:00 am. Pick up at Lao Cai Station then transfer to Sapa. Have breakfast before the trip starts. Drive to Y Linh Ho and start Trekking downhill to Muong Hoa Valley through rice paddies and small hamlets to learn the life of hill tribes here. Communication exchange with local people in Lao Chai village. Cook & have lunch at local family, continuing trekking through villages and rice terraced fields to Ta Van Village settled by Dzay ethnic people which is supposed to be the most beautiful one in the area. Diner and overnight at local hotel.

Day 4Sapa Hanoi

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
Overnight: on the train

Breakfast at the hotel then we embark on a lovely walking tour to the hill tribe Villages of Cat Cat, home to the H'mong hill tribe's minority people. As we walk to the villages nestled in the valley below Sapa, we will meet some of the local minority people on their way and share cultural experiences with the families that live in the area. Jeep back to Sapa. Check out the hotel. Have lunch at the local rest aunt. Afternoon, Free to visit Sapa town and go shopping. Dinner on your own arrangement. Transfer to the train station for the night train back to Hanoi. Overnight in the train.


Villages of Cat Cat

Day 5Hanoi Halong Bay, Sharing cruise

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Overnight: on board of Halong Bay Cruise

Check-out from hotel and get pick-up by the Cruise. Take a route most scenic to reach Halong Bay, taking you across the Red River Delta with emerald green rice paddies stretching for as far as the eyes can see. On arrival at Halong, you get to enjoy a cruise on the Bay to better explore the limestone rocks and the karst grottoes.

After you are done with your exploration of the bay, it is time to enjoy an utterly delicious seafood lunch, after which a trip to the famous limestone cave in Halong Bay, you’ll get to spend some time here, kayaking or swimming, so that you can get closer to the floating villages and shops. Towards the evening, you will return to the boat for an early dinner, followed by some time at leisure. You can opt to attend the activities taking part in the boat or relax for the day.

Note: In case of bad weather (the boat is not allowed to push off or not allowed to overnight in the sea), the Ha Long bay tour could be cancelled without notice. We will consider other replacement tour or refund based on the specific circumstances

Halong Bay

Day 6Halong Bay Hanoi, Sharing cruise & bus

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
Overnight: In Hanoi

Rise early for a lesson in Tai Chi or just to enjoy a hearty breakfast. The boat will make its way back to the port stopping at the Cave of Surprises, full of stalagmites and stalactites. From here, it's clear sailing back to the main harbor and the return Hanoi around 17:00. Drop off at hotel in Hanoi. Free at your leisure time to explore Hanoi by yourself at night.


Halong Bay

Day 7Departure Hanoi

Meals: Breakfast

Relish a healthy breakfast on the final day of your trip. Complete the hotel check-out formalities after which you can visit the local markets and buy souvenirs for your loved ones. Later, proceed for departure and board yo ur flight back home.
