For travelling to Longji Rice Terraces from Guilin, you could take normal bus from Guilin North Bus Station and Guilin Qintan Bus Station to Longshen Bus Station. When the bus passes Longji Rice Terraces, you could get off. If you take nonstop bus to Longshen Bus Station, you need to take bus from Longsheng Bus Station to Longji Rice Terraces.

Guilin North Bus Station is located at No. 76, Beichen Road, Diecai District, Guilin. From Guilin North Bus Station to Longsheng Bus Station, the distance is 86 km, and it takes about 1.5 hours.

Longji Rice Terraces covers a vast of land, mainly divided to 2 parts, Ping’an Zhuang Rice Terraces, and Jinkeng Dazhai Yao Rice Terraces, and in fact, there are 11 villages in Longji Rice Terraces. And it has 3 entrances in these 3 villages, Ping'an Zhuan Village, Longji Zhuang Village, and Jinkeng Yao Village. From the ticket office to these 3 villages, the distances are 9 km, 17 km, and 23 km respectively. For travelers' convenience, there are tourist buses available, which have extra charges apart from the entrance ticket.
► Jinkeng Dazhai Rice Terraces
Jinkeng Rice Terraces is surrounded by hills in four sides, like a hole lower than the surrounding, and it has mainly 3 observation decks: Gold Buhhda Peak, West Mountain Shaole, Thousand Layers Terraces. Gold Buddha Peak is the must visit place, and in here tourists could enjoy a broad view of rice terraces and watch beautiful sunset, and take great pictures.
► Ping'an Zhuang Rice Terraces
It has 2 observation decks, Nine Dragon Five Tigers, and Seven Stars Accompanying Moon. The former gets its name from the shapes of mountains, and the latter is the best place for watching sunrise. Ping'an Zhuang Rice Terraces also includes Longji Zhuang Rice Terraces.
► Huangluo Yao Village
In this village, you could watch Long Hair Show. Females of this Yao Village are of Hong Yao ethnic groups, and has the custom of wearing long hair. Moreover, you could go to visit their house, a kind of special building existing for hundreds of years, and try their home-made food.

► Jinkeng Dazhai cable car
The ropeway is 1380 meters long, with a fall of 310 meters, and it has 113 passenger cabins which can hold 4 persons and its terminal is at Gold Buddha Peak. It only takes 20 min for you to watch the panoramic view of the rice terraces, and enjoy its beauty from high places.
Fare: 70 yuan for a single trip, and 110 yuan for a round trip.

1 day in Longji Rice Terraces
If you have only 1 day in Longji Rice Terraces, you can’t visit most places, but the highlights. Gold Buddha Peak is highly recommended to you to watch sunset.
Ticket office- take tourist bus to Ping'an Zhuang Rice Terraces (hike to Seven Star Accompanying Moon)-take tourists bus or hike to Jinkeng Dazhai(take cable car to Gold Buddha Peak, and hike to the parking lot)-take tourists bus to the ticket office.

2 days in Longji Rice Terraces
Day 1: Ticket office- take tourist bus to Jinkeng Dazhai(hike to Gold Buddha Peak, West Mountain Shaole, Thousand Layers Terraces, or you could go to the highest place Quan Jing Lou under guide)-go to Ping’an Zhuang Rice stay 1 night at Ping'an Village.
Day 2: hike to Seven Star Accompanying Moon (watch sunrise)-hike to Nine Dragons Five Tigers-hike to the parking lot and take One Day Guilin to Longji Rice Terraces Group Tourbus to Huangluo Hong Yao Village- take tourists bus to ticket office.
